Calgary was born at the confluence of two rivers. 

Today it is a global meeting place of ideas, cultures, energies and inspirations. Here, we join with our neighbours, share our visions, support each other and celebrate our mutual successes. Calgary is unique and it is time for us to let the world know it. We propose a simple, original design for our new flag that is rooted in the geography of our city, and expresses its welcoming, inclusive spirit.
